    anchor rodes to the marine industry for nearly 20 years. We have never had any kind of failure and this can be attributed to our proprietary splicing method and using only the highest quality nylon and chain.  Our
    8 Plait
    anchor rodes are manufactured to work with all
    LEWMAR
    windlasses but they are also suitable for other brands as well.
    Please refer to your owners manual to determine the proper size of the rope/chain to use with your windlass.
    The
    8 Plait
    nylon we use is manufactured in the
    USA
    by two of the leading rope manufacturers (New England Ropes & Buccaneer Rope Company).  We hand splice & taper the nylon to the chain to insure a smooth transition of the splice around the Windlass Gypsy.  The chain we use is a galvanized G4 High Test manufactured by the Peerless Chain Corporation.  Our anchor rodes are used by nearly all of the nations leading boat manufacturers.  We also include a galvanized screw pin shackle to for easy attachment to the anchor.
