Antique Vtg Japanese Hand Painted Satsuma Pottery Ginger Jar Container Vase

Antique Japanese Hand Painted Satsuma Pottery Ginger Jar or Container. Approx. 7" tall. Very detailed, with lots of painting - glazed, and cold-painted gold. The lid is chipped and broken/glued back together. Inner lid has a couple tiny chips. Top of jar has small, shallow chips. Base has faint lines all around the rim - don't know if they're tiny hairlines, but they may be the way it came out of the kiln (nothing that seriously detracts, in any event). Some discoloration and wear (mostly to the raised parts that are painted gold but other places as well) consistent with age/use. And it could use a bit of cleaning inside. It would be nice to have someone do a better job of repairing the lid, but it's still a nice piece and you could leave the lid off and use it for displaying dried flowers or something.
