We offer this, beautiful and original, brightly colored Moriage Satsuma Vase. This post war vase is an exceptional example of the fine art community still thriving in Japan at that time. This particular piece has a different and alluring color scheme compared to many pieces of this time. The fruit trees are particularly noticeable, and the colors are very vivid throughout the piece.

This vase is 6” tall, 3.75” wide at its broadest, with a 2” opening at the top and a base that measures 2.375”. There are no distinct artist markings other than the Made In Japan moniker.
This vase is in very good condition. There are no chips, cracks or scratches on the vase. A very little of the raised patterns is missing, other than that all is well with this artwork.
Any imprecision on paint and gold accents is in the original application of brush strokes and artist intention.
