    The movie was released in theaters in 1991.  The video was released in 1992.
    Beauty and the Beast
    was the first animated feature to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture.
    The video is in a clamshell case.  The catalog number is 1325.  Both the video and the case are in very good condition.  The case has light shelf wear.  The case has one of those "The Classics" black diamond on the spine.  The video is in NTSC format, for playback in North America.
