EAPG Antique WESTMORELAND No. 5 "THREE KITTENS" 7-Inch Plate Hand Painted

Offered for your consideration is a beautiful white milk glass plate made by the Westmoreland Specialty Company (1889-1924) in their "Number 5 Plate Three Kittens" pattern. This plate dates circa 1901.
The bowl measures 5 inches (12.7 cm) in diameter to outside of border and features a hand painted floral design and painting on kittens and on rim.
This plate is in excellent used condition with no cracks, chips, noticeable scratches, roughness, nor repairs. Much of the hand painted floral design is missing as is some of the paint applied to the kittens and border. The milk glass is clean, bright white, and shows no discoloration nor stains. There is no maker's mark on plate but there is a large shear (straw) mark on back of plate and an apparent sealed surface bubble in rim. See photos. There may be additional minor defects caused during manufacturing.
