    Description

It’s not very often that one can find a three piece condiment set in early American pattern glass where all the pieces are original and properly fit the holder.  The pattern on each of the shakers/mustard daisy and button, a pattern produced and re-issued by many companies over the past 125 plus years.  I believe this set was produced by one of the well-known glass companies of the 1880s such as Bryce Brothers or Belmont glass.  The set consist of the holder with glass pegs at each of the three spots where a shaker sits. Each shaker has an indention on the bottom that fits on these pegs.  The shakers can enter change with the lids as all three unscrew from the glass. The mustard comes with a spoon I suspect is silver plate, however, it has no markings. Two of the glass shakers have some damage, the blue has a bruise underneath where the lid attaches, the amber has a chip under the screw on lid and on the base, as pictured. The yellow vaseline shaker appears to be free of chips albeit minor roughness on the seams and pattern. One of the lids is a thinner metal then the other two, not sure if it’s original, however, the lids have the proper size holes for both salt and pepper.   I cannot find any damage on the holder other than possible minor roughness on the seams and edges. No major damage.  A great and hard to find set in early American pattern glass.  Please view all pictures as they are considered part of the description.
Please check back to my listings often as I will be posting numerous fine examples of glass, pottery and porcelain in the near future.
    Thank you.
