    Description

    The fineness of the wire work on this small jewel-like Japanese cloisonne vase is superlative.  The design of 2 crows amidst fruit is uncommon. The colors thoughtfully chosen and appealing.  It is old, perhaps late 19th/early 20th C, as you can see in the photos which show the wear on the metal rim and metal foot.
    There is only one flaw that I notice, which I show in the last photo.
    On a green leaf just under the rim there is an approx 1 mm red spot which is the underlying color showing thru where some green has gone missing over the decades. The vase only measures 3" H x 3 1/2" W, yet the quality impresses.  It weighs but 4 1/2 oz. Check out my OTHER ITEMS/SELLER STORE.
