If you know, you know. This is the Mack Daddy of water rowers - adaptive AI learns your rowing stats and builds and suggests new workouts and programs for you. Race against friends or lovers across the internet. And it ain't to hard on the eyes either. There's really only one other rower on the planet that holds a candle to this which uses magnetic induction - slightly more control, but doesn't feel as smooth and it looks like a dystopian robot. By comparison the Ergatta looks like it belongs in the Oxford library. The major seller for me though was the marriage of excellent UI and classic looks. I completed my 2 year rowing program and have moved on to other training, so this machine can be had without getting on the 3-4 month wait list and for a great price.
These go for 00 new plus Ergatta's hidden charges, tax and the 0 white glove installation this rower ended up being over k for me.
It is mechanically and aesthetically as new and functional as the day it was delivered, which is to say there are no blemishes or problems to speak of. It has been professionally setup and broken in. Plug and play. It is only 2 years into its 5 year warranty.
