Every spring you see online being sold as a "Cummins" is actually a DCEC Chinese valve spring, made in China. While the Chinese springs have had an ok quality rating, the problem we found is that a lot of copies are being sold as OE Cummins, so you literally have no idea who really made the springs. This prompted SSI to produce our own "+60" valve springs in the
USA
, in order to know what was being made. Our springs start with Chrome Silicone wire, are shot peened, heat treated, stress relieved, and precision ground on the ends. Ask what spring wire your DCEC springs are made of..........you'll get no reply! We know what ours are made of because we go to the factory and actually watch our springs being made! No other spring seller on eBay can say that!!!!
We offer these springs in sets of 6 and 12, along with sets of 12 that come with valve seals. We also have a full 12V head built kit that comes with +60 springs, retainers, keepers, Viton valve seals, shims, and stainless swirl polished valves!! Check out our other listings!!
