    Description

    Vintage white porcelain vase decorated with multicolor gilt decorated butterflies and flowers, 4 inches tall,  in very good condition with no cracks or chips. It is signed LJ on the bottom and I believe it was made in Japan. There are several tiny black dots inside the vase which I think might be tiny firing flaws in the glaze. They are not visible on the exterior. The base is almost 3 inches across and the upper opening is 3 1/2 inches across from rim to rim. The vase design with handles could also be called an urn or cache pot. Total width across including the handles is 5 inches.The upper rim, the base and the handles have gold trim which is in excellent condition. It is signed LJ on the bottom.
