    Description

    This sale is for an interesting chunk of incredibly heavy leaded glass. This piece originally came from the nuclear reactor south-west of Chicago in the 1980's when it was being built.  They used one cubic foot blocks to make windows. Many were broken during the construction process. This material cuts wonderful cabs, beads, and of coarse - spheres. I got this sphere pre-form at a rock show in the Chicago area. This piece weighs in at 2.90 pounds.  Pictures 1 & 2 were taken wet. #2 was held up to a light.  Email me with any questions.  This piece will be shipped USPS Priority mail.  Thank You.
