    Chert Flint Rock From Central Texas-*Edwards Plateau - Knapping/Lapidary.
    Collected in Comanche County Texas-Edwards Plateau, known for its quality Knapping Chert. This is a large solid stone that fractures sharp & has a beautiful blueish waxy color inside with a nice speckled pattern. Very pleasing smooth texture with plenty of possibilities. May need a little heat treatment if used for the art of flint knapping. Would make a beautiful display rock in a garden or aquarium/terrarium.
