  • Condition: Amazing bottle I purchased in the French Quarter in New Orleans in 1995. This is a one-off piece and a great find for a collector. Neither my children nor my grandchildren want it, so it needs a new person to love it.

    Description

    When an exceptional piece of glass is created, a limited number of duplicate pieces are sometimes made. These are all numbered and registered according to the number in the edition. For example, the third piece produced out of an edition of ten pieces would be signed 3/10. The original piece would be signed as an artist's or development proof.
    Please note! This one is signed P/D. There are no known duplicates.  Here is the information I received from the actual artist who carved this Kelsey Murphy design:

    Ok, it was completed on Feb. 9, 1995 to be exact. It only lists the D/P so it looks to be a one of a kind. No mention of edition size. Layers are Black/ Cranberry/ Crystal with lilies and fairies. One last thing....I was the one that carved it.

    Tim Osborne, Kelsey designed it. She did some developmental pieces, but this one is documented that I carved it. We were a union shop, so Kelsey was only allowed to work on very few pieces, but she did 99% of the designs.
