    Description

    Vintage Japanese porcelain temple jar that was decorated in Macau during the hey day makes this a unique & beautiful Chinoiserie piece!  Jar has a tradional Macua enamel look relief texture design featuring a pair of cranes surrounded by a floral and vine motif that is sitting against a translucent creamy peachy-pink background glaze.  Adding to the beauty is a foo dog finial on the lid that is glazed a matte sage color with wonderful handpainted detailing.   The underside is marked Japanese Porcelain Decorated in Macau with a makers mark I.
    Temple jar measures 15-1/2" H x 8-1/2" W x 5-1/2" D.  The opening is 4" L x 2-1/2" W and the base is 6" L x 4" W.
