    Description

    We believe this lovely vintage
    INABA TABLE SCREEN AND MIRRORED VASE SET
    dates from between 1950 and 1980.
    All three pieces feature Ginbari cloisonné rose flowers on ‘Pigeon Blood’ enamel with an embedded bamboo design.
    The floral designs on the two vases are mirror-imaged.
    The vases also feature metal (silver plate or chrome?) rings at their rims and bases, and wooden (rosewood?) three-footed stands.
    The screen's frame is marked with the Inaba symbol and "Made in Japan". The Inaba stickers that were originally on the bottoms of the vases have been lost over time.
    The 10-3/4 inch wide screen stands 6 inches tall and weighs 1 lb. 11 oz. The pair of 3-1/2 inch tall vases weigh just under a pound.
    The two vases and their stands are in very good condition. The screen's frame and silvered backing show some minor wear.
