Octagon Form with Round Lid and Inset Round Handle.
Hand Painted in Green, Blue and Pink, with Branch, Floral, and Bird Motifs.
Overall Glaze is Glossy and Smooth.
Crazing Commensurate with age and pottery type is evident to varying degrees on overall piece.
No Stains or Odors--piece has always been displayed and not used for storage.
Height Overall is 6 1/4 Inches with lid.
Height of Jar is 6 Inches without lid.
Lid is 6 Inches across.
Jar is 7 Inches across.
Family possession dating from early 1940's.
