Vintage New Old Stock Burton Snowboards Gaiters (1988/1989)
From the 1989 Burton Catalog (also shown in the 1988 Catalog):
"If your pants don't have snow cuffs, don't go into the backcountry without Burton's GAITERS.  The upper is made of a breathe-able nylon/cotton blend and the lower is made of durable waterproof Cordura.  A rear zipper allows for easy access."
