Condition: This vintage piece shows signs of aging including discoloration, and glaze imperfections. There is also some hard residue that I did not try to remove due to uncertaintly of chemical reaction- it looks like old sticker residue- perhaps from an antique store price sticker? It has a hard (not tacky) feel. I'm sure a good soak will help remove it. Please see all photos.

This lovely Satsuma footed egg vase
is presumed to have been made in the later half of the 20th century
because of the English writing; this is not an antique. Many Satsuma pieces were mass produced for export to Europe and the USA and resemble the style made during the
Meiji period, with the signature crackle glaze
and lovely landscape panels.
