    VTG Japanese Porcelain Black 2 Handle Floral Vase / Jug  with Gold Trim

    Description
    : This beautiful double handled vase (or jug) is unique (and somewhat rare) primarily due to its physical design.  Not that the graphics aren't gorgeous, because they are.  The handles however are not just another variation of the typical "ho-hum" loop, but resemble a form used extensively in Japanese architecture. The 24K gold trim on their front (only) accentuates their shape and visually coordinates them with the brilliant gold rim trim and floral accents. The hand painted graphics are incredible.  Each and every blossom, leaf and stem is outlined with a pinstripe of gold.
    There are red and white chrysanthemums, white dog wood, perhaps pink lotus blossoms and a couple other stylized and unidentified flowers.
    All are in a very fancy rickshaw.

    chips, crazing, scuffs, scratches, stains, repairs, water / mineral marks, discoloration or any other cosmetic issues.  The colors remain bright and vibrant. The extensive use of gold trim is 100% intact and without voids.  Even the rough exposed vitreous china / ceramic bottom edge that normally shows some scuffing and/or discoloration remains clean.  The bottomstamp is clear and legible.
