VTG SIMS SHAUN PALMER CLOWN 1991 PRO MODEL SNOWBOARD w/ BINDINGS COLLECTORS ITEM
This is an excellent and vintage SIMS Shaun Palmer collectors snowboard. It is the Pro modern clown style from 1991 with the USA flag on the back. It is a RARE and hard to find snowboard nowadays, and it was treated with respect. The minor issues I'd like to now is one binding is cracked and coming apart (pictured), and it has some spidering towards the top of the board (pictured). The issues are superficial and nothing too huge in my opinion. The snowboard is approximately: 61.5" long (155-156 cm), 10: wide in the middle, and the nose/tailer are both 11". The bottom is flat and can be stuck straight into the snow. The graphics are epic for it's time and this is definitely a Great Wall hanger for your home, garage, etc. The deck doesn't have any gauges, delaminating, scratching that is noteworthy, and the metal edges are in great condition for this snowboards age.
Shaun Palmer was one of the best snowboarders and definitely the most influential snowboarders of his time. This snowboard back then with the clown graphic was a very sought after and high end board to have. It definitely shows the utmost quality. This snowboard is a rarity and doesn't pop up very often on eBay. It'd be a great board to ride with new bindings, great for a collector, a wall hanger, or for any snowboard enthusiast.
