    ABOUT THE ITEM:
This hand-carved plaque is made of various hardwoods including light willow, dark willow, walnut, stained basswood, and red oak. It's a large piece (about 15 inches tall) and has a sawtooth hanger on the back for displaying on a wall. It's carved in high-relief and looks great on the wall. This is an officially licensed piece signed by the artist/woodcarver, Steve Journey.
We purchased this plaque along with its companion, Eeyore (available on a separate listing) on a trip to Disney World in the mid-90's to decorate our daughter's playroom. Now she's grown and we would like to find new homes for these prized pieces that brought us much joy. We've listied this a used since it was displayed, but honestly, it looks just as nice now as the day we bought it.
This is not a mass-produced decoration like the ones you'll often see in the gift shops these days; this is a piece of hand-made art - a difference you'll see immediately when you see them in person. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
**If you win both Pooh and Eeyore, we'll combine the shipping so you'll only pay the shipping for the first one.
The final picture in the listing show the two plaques together - this is just so you can see how they pair up, but the listing is only for the Winnie the Pooh plaque.
If you want Eeyore, he is available as a separate listing.
*Item in photos is the exact item you will receive.
    ABOUT THE SELLER:
For nearly a decade, I ran one of the most trusted collectible shops on e-bay (Jivatu Collectibles 2001-2010) Maintaining a 100% feedback rating throughout that time with over 3,000 transactions. Although I closed the business many years ago to start my own art studio (the studio that made these reliefs), I remain a passionate collector to this day.
    ABOUT SHIPPING:
I do not pad shipping costs - so if the cost to ship is LOWER than you were charged, I will refund the difference. I will also combine shipping costs for multiple wins whenever practicable. Just be sure NOTE TO PAY for the auction until you have requested and received a combined shipping invoice. I pack like a true collector, which is to say I pack the way I would want to receive the item if I were the buyer.
    AUCTION TERMS:
Once an item has at least one bid, I will not end it early for any reason (because that's not fair to other bidders). However, I reserve the right to end any auction at any time as long as it has no bids (because that's fair to me). So, if you want to be sure an auction runs its full course, at least one person needs to bid on it.
    TERMS OF SALE:
I'm sure neither of us want to play games. My 100% feedback rating and 20 years on e-bay speaks for itself. Please only bid if you are serious. All items are represented as honestly and thoroughly as possible. If you have a specific concern about an item, look at photos, read descriptions, and ask questions before you bid. If your item arrives damaged or is lost in transit, you agree to file an insurance claim for your loss. You further agree not to come to me for a refund (total or partial) for loss/damage sustained in transit (that's what insurance is for). In 20 years and over 3,000 transactions, I have only had two problems that required insurance to get involved and both were international packages lost in transit. By completing a purchase from me, you are agreeing to these terms.
